One day while cleaning out her closet, New York mom Robin Ashford-Macy (who’s now bi-coastal) realized she had way too many rocker t-shirts and a genius idea struck her: what if she turned them all into bikinis? She raced out, bought a sewing machine and Vin-T Bikini was born.
The Top Gun Suit
Vin-T Bikinis are one-of-a-kind custom suits made exclusively from t-shirts and hand-cut then hand-sewn into cool string bikinis. Designs are most popular in the vintage rocker style, but can come from your own personal collection or Robin and her team can find one for you. One t-shirt yields one suit and depending on how rare the shirt is, can cost $135 and up.
The Led Zeppelin Suit
Themes have covered the spectrum from Sponge Bob to Harley Davidson to KISS.
