NY – It’s no secret that a typical day in the fashion capital can leave your head spinning, your high-heeled feet tender, and, in general, the majority of your systems over-stimulated. While the bulk of wheeling and dealing happens between 34th and 40th, I’m all for mixing business with some chic pleasure.
NY – Everyone’s got a Saturday morning routine. Ours involves a leisurely stroll through the park, a bouquet of wild flowers, a jar of pickles and a Friend of a Farmer. Here’s how it goes down.
Saturday morning isn’t complete without brunch, so head east to Friend of a Farmer, a cozy and quaint country cafe on Irving Street for their famous weekend brunch. The brunch menu is fantastic – and they bake all their bread, muffins, pastries and pies in house. We recommend staying on theme and ordering the Farmers Market Omelet. Lines tend to form early and they don’t take reservations, so grab a coffee next door at Irving Farm Coffee and wait it out.
NY – This next project wears many hats — it’s great for a Girls Night, but could also be spot on for Date Night. One thing’s for sure, no matter who you’re with, you’re guaranteed to go home with a smile on your face. Take note, this project can only be enjoyed in its entirety, one day a month. More
