NY – Been having a tough week? Here’s an easy way to find your smile.
1. The best part of The Gotham Comedy Club is that you can catch a different show every night of the week! Start your evening right there at the club where you can have dinner and drinks before or during the show.
There’s always new talent to discover — like the razor-edged wit of comedian Colin Kane (be warned — he’s rated R), and occasionally even some of the greats like Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David or Dane Cook may stop by to try out new material. If you’ve always wanted to learn stand up, take a comedy class and if you think you have what it takes — try out your stuff at Open Talent Night and perform for a live audience!
2. Depending on what time your show gets out head next door to Doughnut Plant for a little after show sweet and sample their huge variety of cake, yeast and jam gourmet doughnuts.
If it’s late night, Billy’s Bakery is a better bet as it’s open until midnight on the weekends and you won’t want to miss their coconut cake.
