LA – Okay, I’m no “Fearless Felix,” but I like to think that I have an adventurous spirit. So, if you’re like me and in the mood for adventure, here’s a project that will make you believe you can fly!

    Karl Strauss Brewery

    1. For those of you who have a stomach of steel and need liquid courage, head over to Universal Studios City Walk and grab a brew at Karl Strauss where they specialize in craft beers from around the world, listed in the New York Times as a must visit location for beer lovers.

    I Fly Indoor Skydiving

    2.  Now that you’re ready for anything, book it over to iFLY. What’s iFLY you ask? Well, it’s the opportunity to have the sensation of skydiving without having to jump out of a plane. You heard me. The website says no experience necessary and for ALL ages — from 3-103!  Heck, if a 3 year old could master it… Essentially you’re in a very safe tube or vertical wind tunnel with controlled air coming in and the multiple fans going in the tunnel produce a wall-to-wall airflow that is completely controlled and totally SAFE.  One step better than virtual reality and without the danger — it sounds like a bucket list item to me. Each “dive” lasts about as long as the real deal when you’re free falling out of a plane — one minute. They have a variety of packages (a DVD included) that range from $60 to $240 (for a whole family).

Wolfgang Puck at Universal City Walk

    3. By now you’re starving and whether you’re in the mood for sushi, pizza or steak, your opportunities are endless at City Walk.  You can’t go wrong at the iconic Wolfgang Puck‘s, but check out their other restaurants here.
